I just rode trails a few hours ago for the first time since I tore my knee last February. There's been these trails out here and it's the first time I went to them since I moved here in November. I don't know why the fuck I hadn't went sooner. I had a fucking blast. They weren't that big, pretty dry. biggest set was probably 5ft tall and 9ft long, that's giving it credit. But it's a decent location with lots of *potential* There's a curved wall ride too.
I found out I can still do turndowns with a knee brace, and I haven't lost inverts.
last sunday I rode street all fucking day. I hadn't rode in 2 months before that. I'm sore as fuck and my hands are mangled and I'm happy.

Lincoln HS which is in almost every recent bmx video I have seen is right up the street from where I am staying so I have just been riding there... only notable thing that happened last week was that my front peg/axle had come loose while practicing and went up for a 50/50 only to get my ass handed to me by the peg shearing off the front axle threads.... And they just started pouring the concrete yesterday at the new skatepark. It's about time.
When that park opens I can see things changing.
