arrived yesterday from Flamma Aeterna (
http://www.flammaaeterna.com/ ) in Arizona... they're perfect. the weight is good, the swivels are great, they don't tangle, and the wicks are effing huge. the stacked style of wick is called 'cathedral', and these are 3in wicks (3.5 counting the connector). they seem MUCH bigger. it'll take me awhile to get used to them, they're custom made for the length of my arms and i'm used to spinning poi that are longer. these are 21in from the bottom of the wick to the top of the loops. i opted for leather loops, just in case something terrible happens i don't want nylon webbing to melt to my fingers.
