On the real though... my pops was in OC tooling around in his Cherokee and he was scared you guys were gonna give him a NOT IMPRESSED. That could ruin a mans own self image!! He told me to go check out all the drunks on the front porch. You guys freakin owned 6th street.- DeezUU on vortex in regards to the H2O house.

I think I mentioned on here somewhere that my engine was on it's way out. So, the inevitable happened today...
On the way to work this morning some douche of a kid in a Saturn cut me off and wouldn't let me pass, so I let it get the best of me. I slam in to 4th, cut between his left and the freeway divider. I catch up to him(on his left) and proceed to explain in 'retarded ape' just how much I'm going to pound his head in.

So, I get to work and there's a slight tick. Almost like a stuck lifter. On the way home it gets worse and I start talking to the car, asking that we just get back to my garage on account of how nice I usually am to the damn thing. Just as I'm about to call Dave, so we can both laugh about me driving the car like that - the engine grenades and I see a rod cap flying behind me in a cloud smoke. There's also now a nice sized inspection hole in place of cyl #2.


Anyone seriously know anyone selling a VR swap? That's the only way this car will see the road again. I'm done with 16Vs for a bit.

12v's are better thatn 16v's in my book any day, i could ask down at RS if they have one, they may but not that i know of this min.

good work on the 12v find.  i had 1 16v and i'll never have another.  you'll be very happy with the 12v.

24v vr is still better motor all around than the 12v. sorry i cant think out of the mk4 box not my fault that motor was only offered in the USA in 2002 and happens to be on a mk4 platform
