Question about Cams in my 92 SLC Corrado
« on: October 18, 2007, 11:43:33 AM »

I just picked up a SLC recently and the cams that are in it appear to be after market like 256 or so. The guy I bought it from has the dyno sheet and this was also his thinking although he didn't know what kind. When I took a look at the cams they only say germany vr5 on them. This would seem to me that they are an OEM part but I didn't know of any different oem cams or anything.

Would anyone be able to maybe shed some light on this for me?

Most 256s are unmarked because they're reground on stock billets.

I just looked at both of my different Schricks and they have VW markings as well. The only cams that I have that don't are my TTs.
