Replacing the engine in my 85.

The old engine. Notice that the front is entirely coated in burnt oil. That's all fresh. Maybe three weeks old. JH motor.

I had forgotten what a pain in the ass it is to get the motor out of a Rocco with the trans still attached.

The GX (low compression ratio. It's like 9/1) with my bigger intake, throttle body and oil cooler slapped on it.
Head's been yanked, serviced and replaced.

20 years of fine particulate built up in the big-bore throttle body.
I'd clean it but it's so fine and well bonded that I think it would do more harm than good.

Ten minutes work with a dremel. The temp guage on the dash always displayed random bullshit, so I just added one over my stereo.
Someone on here recently mentioned that they appreciated having a car that you occasionally had to beat to make it work.
Same principle. I mean, I have to hit the dash to get the lights to come on the speedo side of the cluster, but in this case...
Yeah, I needed to fucking disembowel the car. Show it I mean business.
