i'm using a stock scirocco 16v throttle cable, i bent the linkage on the bodies a tad to stuff the cable into it, then trimmed the cable nipple down a tad so as to fit nicely inside the linkage.

yes, that's an early fitment pic for the throttle cable stop...that nipple on the end no longer looks like that and i "manuvered" the linkage on the itb's to cup around the base of that nipple a little better...i have pics on my laptop, which isn't really working right now...but i do have them somewhere.

Im doing the same thing to my '95 gti 2.slow, I got some 1000cc gsxr throttles on ebay.  Just need to get my manifold cut up and some tubes welded on to it...  Then megasquirt it.  Should gain a wopping 6-7 hp.  wow.

wow, forgot about this thread. sorry.

my couplers are silicone couplers that i cut myself from a long tube of it. i got the tube from BBM back when i was working there, they had some leftovers sitting on top of a shelf in the mezzanine...but i found a place locally that carries silicone couplers. i'm pretty sure it's a 1.75 dia 3 ply...i've heard of people going to home depot and using rubber couplers from the plumbing section...would work, but i dont think it would be nearly as resilient, or strong as the silicone.

here's how the cable setup is now...

the fuel rail (standard 16v BBM unit straight off of the shelf)

the brackets for the rail, i'd ideally like something a little sturdier, but the injectors were seated in the injector seats, and i pressed the rail on as far as it would go onto the other end of the injectors, then made the brackets...so it should hold the rail as tight as i had it on there w/o it. i also had to rethread the holes where those bolts go in as they were smaller bolts from the factory...

any other questions? :)

i can get you the part number for my 4 K&N filters, but holy fuck were they expensive...i have more into the 4 filters than i do the rest of the TB setup....$35ea w/ an employee discount!
