never used one, but are they trying to say that if you have a 1/2-13 hole that is stripped, that thick as insert still keeps the hole a 1/2-13, even after you are drilling it to a 1/2-13 thread size? it almost looks like it would knock the thread size down a notch....cause that's what it looks like to me, even after watching that video...
