Yet another ABA question
« on: August 08, 2007, 05:24:20 PM »

Just got an ABA for 150 bucks. It's mostly there, just needs a distributor cap and an alternator. A/C pump is coming off and it's going in my 82 rocco.

Any advice for upgrades to a stock ABA 8v? Once I get it running, I'm going to be looking immediately for more HP, I'm sure. Megasquirt?

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions.

Deck the head .100" and throw the biggest cam you can find in it. You'll need some 100+ octane and some standalone but hell, it's just money right?

stretch bolts or no? I also used to use sandwich gaskets back in my V8 days. Are they worth the price on inline 4 cylinders?
