since the invention of the ipod i have been carrying around about 20 gigs of punk rock in my glove box.  just for a change of pace i've been listening to almost nothing but metal/hardcore (some bad) for the last 8 months to a year.

the other day i decide to listen to some minor threat (the first 2 7"s cd), that lead to rancid (out come the wolves and let's go) repeatedly, which lead to pennywise... alot of pennywise, which lead to some old nofx (yeah fuck you), which lead to face to face, which lead to even more face to face, which then lead to some pop punk that i wont mention, all i will say is they are swedish.... that lead to less than jake.... fuck they were awesome two weeks ago... which lead to mustard plug leading to catch 22.

god dammit.... why did i ever stop listening to punk and ska... makes me feel like i'm 17 again. although most of that shit was written long ago, it's still miles above alot of shit being produced today. 

Same thing happened to me. Loved all those bands in high school but kinda stopped listening to them until I got my ipod...brings back a lot of good memories...

My friend made me borrow Decendants last year, and I have pretty much been listening to it off and on since.  I also found some DRI online. Everybody likes 4 of a Kind, but I always liked Crossover.  Got a bunch of Germs, Dropkick, Toy Dolls, etc etc.  The Toy Dolls kick I was on was huge though.  That used to be one of my favorite bands in Jr. High actually.
