ABA Trigger Wheel
« on: November 18, 2008, 08:12:07 PM »

So the 2.0 crank that I'm gonna use in my stroker motor musta' taken a pretty good whack during shipping as the trigger wheel was fairly well bent on one side.

I kind of tapped it back into place with a MFH, but It's still obvious that the thing isn't factory straight.  How dead-nuts on do these need to be in order to function correctly?  I'd sure as shit hate to get it all together and find out the timing's all fucked up.

Thanks Paul; it's a bolt on wheel.  The P/N, if it matters, is 049 105 189B.

from what im told they need to be nuts dead on. somuch so that most shops doing crank work on motors withthem dont take them off if they can help it while relinquishing them for a motor build. kidn of like teh ABA sensor ring andhow eremoving it will basilcy jack the whole system even though they screw into place and only fit 1 way. but what ever i have personaly never messed w/ tany of that stuff due to all teh WOW dont touch that iv been fed over teh years!.....
