mk2/3 pededl box in a mk1?

so, i need to upgrade my master and w/ all the othe rbs parts needed to do that on a mk1.... i figure why not just swap up to a mk2/3 pededl box, vacume canister/booster, mastercylinder?.... have all oe parts off the same car and no problems?.... anyone ever done this? i imagen it cant be too hard.... or can it be?

its a bit of a pain since the firewall isnt flat in that spot like a mk2/3. but i have seen it done.

when i had an 02a n my rabbit i used the passat pedal cluster...it needed a little trimming but it really wasnt all that bad...and when i did it there was nothing but the column in there, just to make sure it lined up ok


took me about an hour to get it all straightened out...you should be ok if you decide to tackle it

i'll have to look, i might still have a few pictures of it
