I get the impression that DCI is a front for a handful of elitests with moderately nice cars who surround themselves with people who cant think for themselves, who need to be part of something to feel better about themselves. Its a viscious cycle. -big bentley on vortex

Hell yes, that's an ol dodge panel van.  Easy to get running, just put a new motor/727 trans in with a dodge dart rear end and you are golden hahah.  Seriously, that'd be an easier project then a VW.

Hahah yea, to be exact it's a 1951 Route Van, used for delivery services mainly.  They are pretty rare here in the states (I've only seen one in 14 years) and 53' was really the last of the "good" ones.

Here in the states that'd be a one year project taking it easy.  You can use the frame off of an "A" body dodge Dart or Plymouth Volare which you can get for about $300 in decent shape (often with front end suspension).  Rear axle with brakes would range about $150 to $400 (posi), you could pick up a complete motor for $400 (318-360cui) and a 904 trans or 727 for $400 as well.  For under five grand you could have a pretty sweet truck.
