It truely is sad to see a car club that I knew in the PNW back in '98 /'99 go to shit with people like you and all your east coast cloanies. Now i see why some of the "original" crew have left the scene. Looks like a bunch of DEMONIC WHOREDs who run nothing but there fucking mouth in the DCI now........... - Euro2.0

16v fuel delivery question
« on: August 21, 2006, 02:04:31 PM »

I know this isn't the ITB section, but I figured close enough in the forced induction.

Anyone know of a cheap oem fuel rail that will fit a hacked lower 16v intake manifold?  I'm looking for low cost functionality here...  Will a 1.8t, digi rail or something similar work?

1.8t lines up perfectly but you need to figure out a way to fasten it down. Also the V8 Audi fuel rail works, only one side obviously.

I guess I need to head back to the yard...  there's a V8 there with a driver's side header that I need also...  for the beetle project.  Not sure why I didn't think about the fuel rail when I was there staring at it the other day.

Anything else on those cars worth pulling?

Not that I know of but I always thought the manifold with extra front cooling would be rad on a boost car.
