It truely is sad to see a car club that I knew in the PNW back in '98 /'99 go to shit with people like you and all your east coast cloanies. Now i see why some of the "original" crew have left the scene. Looks like a bunch of DEMONIC WHOREDs who run nothing but there fucking mouth in the DCI now........... - Euro2.0

If by that you mean "men" can deal with incessant electrical problems, shoddy build quality, no suspension travel, and a bunch of hoity-toity richie fucks who farm out their $20,000+ project Rabbits to tuners, then you can be a man all you want.
Sorry, I don't like dealing with annoying shit more than I have to.

Nothing a welder and a bag of zip-ties can't fix.

Nothing a set of bags ca't fix.

I'm pretty sure that's what you meant to tell Taylor.

Julian, I'm down for that setup and if you can swing the 30% discount, well, lets just say I may thank you.

It's true-- TT discontinued the 16V street header. But they VASTLY improved their dual race down with real flex joints instead of those crimp sleeves they used to run.

I sold my old street header to Ed Gecko a few years back. I've been running the stainless race downpipe with Scirocco manifold ever since and don't feel any power loss with this setup.

The race down also gives slightly more clearance for my H&H front bar. And unlike the street header-- it doesn't make that funky aircooled exhaust "ping" on acceleration (never got used to that).

Huskyscott: Never thought about it that way, but you are right. There ARE a lot of us who are currently into motor cycles more then the cars that started this club.  My Caddy is still the rainy day driver though (and around here it rains more than it shines).

Tibber.  If the race pipe has a flex joint(s), you'll be fine with it.  LMK when you want to order.

Yes I found this out after I called TT as well. I hadn't seen this thread before today. I asked why they decided to discontinue the street header and their reply was that it was more work than it was worth. The main reason was the welding of the tri-y setup was such a pain in the ass that got to them. Yes the tri-y is great, but unless you have seen one in person, one would realize how much time it would take to make it.

Danny, funny thing about the header I bought from you, it's still sitting in the bag and all the way you gave it to me! I need to get cracking on getting my garage situated and start working on it the rabbit again! Odd thing is I have the orginal street header I purchased NEW in Box and was going to sell it after I bought Danny's, but that still hasn't happened since I see them everytime I'm in the garage! HA I still have the NIB 2.25 Borla catback from TT as well that I need to sell.  Sheesh, just thinking about all the stuff I have and especially what all I've sold recently..... makes me wonder how much $$ I had/have tired up in parts just sitting around!
