DCI gets no respect from me. Always drive by there when at h2o more or less have to. Everytime no matter I be in my mk2 or mk3 they yell an curse their mouths off at me. -ktm8806 on vortex

twas a good day at the junk yard...
« on: May 23, 2007, 01:05:25 PM »

scored a front bumper skin for $40 for me to shave clean.

also picked up a metal VR6 valve cover for $20, awesomeness.

to top it all off though, the manifold i had to remove to get to the metal valve cover on the CORE MOTOR....a genuine 2.9L intake manifold.

how much did i score it for you ask?

$30.

fuck yeah. i'm stoked.

im not sure if it'll work on a mk4 or not....i know there is quite a difference in manifolds, i want to say it wont though, unless you swap to a mk3 manifold....not a big deal other than you have to relocate your intake tube, maf, and tb to the oposite side of the bay.

...the heads on all the 12v motors are the same though. blocks as well.
