It truely is sad to see a car club that I knew in the PNW back in '98 /'99 go to shit with people like you and all your east coast cloanies. Now i see why some of the "original" crew have left the scene. Looks like a bunch of DEMONIC WHOREDs who run nothing but there fucking mouth in the DCI now........... - Euro2.0

Yeah so ... need two hands ...

... to count them.  I'll post up some pics maybe but here's the current stable.

1936 Schwinn - now has tubular fork and old school BMX one piece cranks and bottom bracket - stiffer and smoother.

1938 Schwinn with suspension fork, 8" front disc and 8-Speed hub - been riding it up Tam on weekends pre war steel is fun.

1997 Breezer Ignaz-X - keep it at the office, perfect Peets Coffee bike.  7-speed rigid steel retro cruiser.

2007 Breezer Villager - was a Nexus-7 speed, Joe Breeze lent me a Nu Vinci hub to test out (CVT bike hub, kinda cool but 10 pounds and not as fun to ride as you would think) currently in Joe's garage (which is nice cause I get to hang around and ooogle his old bikes) should have it back soon.

200(4?) Storck - have been working myself into shape thanks to this hardcore hardtail.

...and the latest news, the FSB Borsk Bomber - Alan Bonds sold me his Titus Switchblade (he got an Intense last year). 2001 frame with bushing and rear shock pivot updates, Talas front shock, Fox RC race in back (plus 5th element and 5+" rear arm update if I want more plushy travel...but I like the way the Fox reacts).  Alan built new wheels using Hadley bolt on hubs and Sun Rhyno lites.  Race Face cranks, 7" front and 6"rear avids, Easton carbon bar.  Magnesium platforms, of course.  Under 25 pounds.  RAGER!

I miss the Storck. That thing's a damn fast ride.

There's something about a sweet lightweight bike custom built from the ground up that a heavy ass FR bike just cant touch.

Glad you enjoy it, homie.  downtown

Nice stable.  I'll have to get some pics of the growing collection I've got in the garage.

I've really been wanting to get an MTB again lately. I miss bombing singletrack. Lots.

i just bought my first proper mtn bike like 8 months ago, i was riding an early 90s stump jumper frame with misc. spare part bin parts.  cantilever brakes, a blown out manitou fork, friction front shifter, 7 speed index rear shifter with a 6 speed cassette.

you get the idea.  im 6'3" and it was a 16" frame, trying to make it feel like a 20". sort of worked, then i bought this....

santa cruz jackal... best mtn bike for a guy that grew up riding 20"
