i've searched on the vortex and have not found a definate answer

can it or can't it be done  and if not....why?

the right rear engine mount on the vr doesnt bolt up to the mk2 mount on the kframe. its basicly not worth the trouble of modifying anything when the mk3 kframe is a direct bolt on and widely available.

And I think the engine sits a bit lower if you use the 'raddo k frame.  I've heard of some people having clearance issues with the hood when using the mk3 subframe.
