would relay99 work in an a1?

i am selling a few of these on vortex and ive never owned an a1.

i assume the wiper relay is the same on a1's though.... so why shouldnt the programmable one work.

Works just fine.  You hooked me up with one or 2 a while back.  Working fine in my '86 Cabby and April's '90 last I knew.

how is it that these things work, im fairly sure my mk3 has one, i remeber it being some thign about u trun it on then off and it remebers hwo long it was off and thats teh gap for the intermintent or soem thing?

so to toss this in a mk1, how do u get the stalk to work? doe they ahve teh "down positoin" on them?... or u have to do something "tricky" to get it to work?

All the A1's I've ever owned had a down.  if not, there's prob a tab you can  break out of the stalk to get that position.  Same with the "forward" push for rear wiper cars.  The contact is there on all A1's, just blocked off.
