I'm kind of over the snow.

So at about 3pm it started dumping in Everett. A bunch of us got stranded at work until 7pm due to the heavy traffic and multiple accidents in the area (15 min drives to the freeway were turning into 2.5+ hour drives).

I estimate there were a good 8 inches on my car by the time I left - insane.

Made it back to Seattle and it's totally dry...although it is amusing to see my car parked on my block and it's the only one with 2 inches of snow STILL on it...

Anyway, can it be sunny now?

That's why you buy a pass. $400 for a season vs. $60 a day @ Meadows? That's a no brainer.

till you have to bust out your truck w/ 35" tires and go drag your buddies cars around cuz they are all high centerd in there parking lot. its not too snowy ahah..... the snow was so deep my dog couldnt walk around as he was drwounding..

i spent 40mins yesterday trying to drive 44blocks in the middel of the morning, not rush hr. it was amazlying slow my 7-10min drive to the clients office was a joke.. i dont knwo hwo some peoepl are able to screw up trafic as much as they do

i dont even consider season passes an option for me. snoqualmie sucks but is comprable in price....crystal is rad, but wil cost you a fortune for a season pass and they dont have night skiing/boarding.

I left work at 330, got home at 7. Over an hour of this was spent at a park and ride watching articulated busses get stuck. I laughed my ass off. I had thursday off for other reasons, woot!

exactly. did it once, and it sucked. I felt obligated to go just to not get screwed, and that reduced the fun factor significantly.

not hating on those with season's passes, but for those of us that dont have em for whatever reason, the resorts are really fuckin us in the ass.

Sorry Mike, but I don't recall skiing or snowboarding ever being that affordable.

Anyways, here's what you (and Sullivan too dammit) need to do. Go to http://skihood.com and purchase a $100 spring pass for Meadows. Then come down to PDX a couple of times and go play in the woods with Boner and I. One weekend and it's paid for itself. Anything else is just gravy on the mashed taters.

They've gotten something like 85-100 inches in the past couple of weeks. Tony can tell you how it was, I haven't been able to go up.
