windshield wiper problem

car is a 1996 A4 2.8 Quattro
this morning the windshield wipers worked, just did a one swipe clean. then 5-10 min later went to use them again and now nothing. checked fuse #24 and its fine. also the washer jets work fine and thats on the same fuse.
any help? thanks.

i thnk iv caught wind of relays going bad and causing this to happen....
u check to see if the mtoro has power?.... if so id say your mtoro took a dump..... if not check the relayz....

ok. took out ecu and box. took off wipers. tray piece. took out complete assembly. plugged ecu back in. to key to power. tested switch. switch had power. decided to hook switch to assembly. nothing to first but i applied some elbow grease and it started working again. greased pivot points on linakge. reinstalled everything. and they work again.
done and done. thanks. :D

wow...... tahts nuts i twas jsut super dry and had too much firctoin on the linkage to functoin!...... u go ...
