This is the first year of what we at MetroDubs.com are hoping to become a spring classic; the first ever Club Kick Ball Classic, presented by MetroDubs.com. Metrodubs.com will be hosting this event as a fund raiser for the local chapter of the Boys and Girls Club of Colorado with a small entry fee for participating teams. Sunday, April 29th will mark the day of fun, competition and excitement. With several teams complied from the local Volkswagen and Audi enthusiasts groups and clubs.
The Colorado Chapter of Dubsquad.org has been invited to create up to 2 teams and participate in the first annual Club Kick Ball Classic. Each team will consist of a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 11. Each team is required to have a minimum of 2 female players registered and on the roster during the tournament. There will be an entry fee of $50.00 per team. 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Colorado.
The tournament will be set up as round robin. Each game will consist of 5 innings, a count of 3 outs by a team completes the team's half of the inning. Winning teams will receive 2 points; losing team will not be awarded points; tie games will result in 1 point for each team. Depending on the number of teams registered, at the conclusion of the round robin tournament, the playoffs and championship game will be held. The first seeded team will play the last seeded team in the bracket. Second seeded team will play the second to last seeded team and so forth.
The rules and conditions created and used by WAKA (World Adult Kickball Association) will be loosely followed for the guidelines for the Club Kick Ball Classic. Those rules can be found by clicking on the following link;

With support and advertising from local news and media services, MetroDubs.com hopes to attract many spectators from the Denver metro area, if not further. Adding to that, we hope to lure an audience by having food and beverages on location. There will also be a general donation area where spectators will be able to get information on the Boys and Girls Club along with any information on the participating VW & Audi enthusiasts clubs and groups, and all sponsors and contributors.
After park permits and other fees have been recouped from the team entry fees, 100% of the net proceeds will be donated. MetroDubs.com is a not for profit organization, tax identification numbers will be available upon request. All records and the amounts of donations for this event will be available 7-10 business days after the conclusion of said event.
