so has anyone here had luck w/ the early a2 steel tube style winsheld squirtrs working well? im debaing what to do w/ my caddy.. fi i should use the ealry steel tube thingys or tyr and use a diffrnt squeter.... sugestaway pelase!

The metal ones have the advantage that they won't be ruined by clearing them with a needle, but from my experience, you actually have to do that more often for reasons I've not yet ascertained.

I can't say any of my VW's have had a washer bottle in them past the first motor swap. Just PLEASE DO NOT clean your windshield where there's a motorcycle following directly behind you.

Aiming them's a snap if you have a pair of needlenose pliers. You just bend the tube, get back in the car and try them, bend the tube again, etc. until your neighbors call the MHI and report you as crazy.
Honestly, it's not so difficult. I usually pull it off by the third try.
