It truely is sad to see a car club that I knew in the PNW back in '98 /'99 go to shit with people like you and all your east coast cloanies. Now i see why some of the "original" crew have left the scene. Looks like a bunch of DEMONIC WHOREDs who run nothing but there fucking mouth in the DCI now........... - Euro2.0

whats that smell?..... did someone bite off more than they can chew?
undoubtably i will run into some issues!  especially since im trying to do this while finishing my haldex mkII,  im not trying to get in over my head so im going to be taking this one slow step at a time!  first things first is strip down of the audi, and step two is build up of what i have.... then ill start thinking about the install into the MKI!
Is the quattro trashed or are you going to step up and swap/mod that shit too???
the s4's pretty trashed, had a front end colision with a tree, which bent the upper and lower frame rails, the hoods fucked,as is pretty much the rest of the car!  I will be stripping it of parts, so i should have a bunch of audi stuff for sale shortly!  anyone interested in the sidemount intercooler? swapping and modding is my main goal with this!!

Here is my new rabbit, 1981 4cyl 4speed!!! woot woot.

Here is my donor car i just picked up on sunday!!!!! 1993 audi urs4!!!

now i don't know exactly when im going to get started on this project???  but im going to do what im able to as of now, which is completely rip apart the audi, junk the shell and anything else i don't need.  once i have the car completely dismantled and space in my garage cleared out, i will clean up the all wheel drive setup, and completely build the motor.  once the motor is built, hopefully my MKII haldex vrt will be done and i can focus 100% on the rabbit!

...its an option! thumbsup
any real advice? or is this WAY over most of your heads?   seriously why do you guys talk so much shit?  is it cause im from nor cal, or part of wcm?  didn't think i ever started any shit w/any of you!?
back on topic... does anyone know where to find the electrical information for the dsg?  as far as power, signal, tcm pinouts, etc???  any help would be greatly appreciated!

well, the dsg is going to run me about 5k shipped...
so i either save up for a little while, as im installing the rearend... OR i can just buy the 04 r32 trans and transfer for 2200 shipped!?!?  hmmm build a really cool car with the 04 setup, or build the only mkII dsg haldex vrt in the world?  im going to have to think about this one!  as far as i know the only dsg swap ever done yet was into a 4cyl mkIV?  don't believe anyone has done a 6cyl dsg swap yet let alone into a mkII!  any feedback from you guys, im torn on what to do!!!

i think ill use some wood screws, or jb weld!!! monk probably going to relocate the motor to the roof of the car and cut off the front end for weight savings thumbsup!
and for the dsg... i think ill just twist the wires together?  or just use aligator clips to hold them together!  the paddles will be mounted under the drivers seat for optimal shifting ability dance! and the drivers seat will be on the passenger side where the back seat was!  i think i might also try to turn it into a trike?  3x3 baby!
and by the time im done with everything it should look like this...

so its been a while, but here is the status of my car!  there are alot of "inbetween" pics that are missing so thats why it shows from bare welds on one pic and primer in the next.  i didn't even take any pics of the work i did on the fire wall!  the engine bay work still isn't done yet but it was so tedious that i almost abandoned the project so its only 3/4 of the way finished.  I will be finishing the rest of the bay when the motor comes back out for some more goodies/parts... so for now i decided to mount the vrt in there and have some fun with it for a little while before i take it back off the road for PHASE II:twisted::twisted:  .:R28T

and i just purchased this... haldex anyone?:metal::metal::metal:

Right now its looks like im going to be running a mkIV trans/transfercase, but im talking with two different people about buying their 08 r32 dsg trans/transfer case!!!  obviously the MKIV setup will cost WAY WAY WAY less... BUT, if everything checks out with the dsg, im going to buy it!  Ill keep you guys posted up as i make progress!

non gas welder...  besides there on my subframe so i could really care less how nice the welds are!
Go to watercooledmilitia.com and bother them.

Is that a W8 engine?  Sweet!
i like bothering you guys!  negativity seems to be my strong point, and i don't get that enough on my club sight, so thats why i come here!
w8... nah, its a vr7, trying to figure out how to weld in an 8th cylinder! ill keep you posted!
