On the real though... my pops was in OC tooling around in his Cherokee and he was scared you guys were gonna give him a NOT IMPRESSED. That could ruin a mans own self image!! He told me to go check out all the drunks on the front porch. You guys freakin owned 6th street.- DeezUU on vortex in regards to the H2O house.

i picked up a set of last years burton hails (boots) to replace my ancient burton vikings. wow how far boot tech has come in 8 years! also bought a bern hard hat and some burton capstraps that i'm trying to modify to fit either my drakes on my canyon 64 or my ride spec.ops. on my kink 57. i'm looking into some avy gear (probe/shovel/beacon) in perp for our jhole trip but we'll see if i actually pull the trigger on that stuff or not.
yeah the next purchase will be a short lens, and i've also been eyeing the 'camera armor' rubber slip on protection covers.
in a side note, i see a lot of photogs add the custom border to all their finished hosted pics. is that a sofind the wang!are suite i need to buy or is there a free alternative?
after years of coveting real cameras while using crappy and not-so-crappy point and shoots, i've finally stepped up and bought an entry level dslr. i've been eyeing the D40's for a while and happened to be in my local camera store on a completely unrelated errand and stumbled upon their father's day sale. ended up getting the d40 kit plus a 55-200mm long lens, bag, card, etc for well under $700, which i'm totally happy with. while none of the following photos are even remotely 'good', they're my from my first week of fucking around with the new equip, and i'm really ghaving some fun. any and all tips are much appreciated.
fuel pump, accumulator and fuel lines are out. Now if Scott wasn't in norf Jersey and my tubing bender wasn't at his garage I could continue with the new fuel lines. Oh it's also Africa hot!
