Title: Lights dimming while at idle on rabbit. Post by: MotherfuckinEsher on August 27, 2008, 12:07:23 PM I noticed while driving at night that when idling the lighting in my rabbit dims and it seems to be pulling power and sometimes it feels like I'm about to stall.
My batt is new, alt new. Is it maybe cause of the batt in the hatch and the cable is real long? Title: Re: Lights dimming while at idle on rabbit. Is it maybe cause of the batt in the hatch and the cable is real long? despite their newness, have you put a voltmeter cross them to verify they are good? Battery/alternator brushes might be shot. (Like he said run a volttimeter on it) Also check the grounds for a good connection. *its not the length of the cable to the hatch.... mine runs back to the hatch without any problems. Title: Re: Lights dimming while at idle on rabbit. Post by: attackrabbit on August 28, 2008, 09:42:35 AM Man, I'd say 99% of the wiring issues I've dealt with on A1s stemmed from grounding issues...
