Not bad, I'm at $7XX a year for my '07 S3.  Just check around, there's a HUGE variance in rates with different companies.

oh and it's considered a recreation vehicle, in  the same class as boats, rv's, personal watercraft and others.

I was about to post that as well as it was suprising that i was xfer'd to them. I've been with USAA since '99.

Also to be clear, I didn't but the nightster, just asked for quote.

That's about right.

I was paying around $350 a year for all my liter bikes.  Most insurance companies weigh the displacement heavily in their rates.

74 RD350
$75 a year.
I was waiting to finish it before getting it appraised for full coverage.

yeah, had to change the CR2032 in the speedo yesterday morning and figure out the magic number needed to get proper MPH calculations.

Multiply the wheel diameter in mm by 3.14 then divide by 1.61 (to convert to mph)
Measure the distance travelled in one complete turn of the wheel then divide by 1.61 (to convert to mph).
