Because golf is for pussies...

http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/ViewAlbum.aspx?a=532100

Now before all of you give me shit for not being around, here's how this one happened.

-Drive from west coast (again, for the 6th time)

-Prep bike in one day

-Do trackday and drive back

-Drive to Asheville, NC

-Wondering why your legs are so fucked?: probably because instead of working the kinks out, you sat in a van seat for 12 hours and then stood working for 12 more.

Was it worth it? Hell yes. If you like riding the twisties, this is what you need to do at least once.

Then there was the deliverance Hicks being loud in the field. We went and crashed the fuck out of their night. It think it went something like this. Shis = "I have a little Scirroco four banger that will walk all over your shit. Lets race" Next morning shis looked dead in the car.

Way safer than being on the street. You will never go as fast on the street as you will the track, it is just not possble.

Controlled environment, great company, ambulance on scene, everyone travelling in the same direction doing the same thing, coaches on hand to show you lines and give you pointers. Sessions are 15 min each and run every 45 minutes per group from 9am to 6pm. Doesn't sound like much but since you're pushing the entire time, there are times when you were wondering, how long till the session is over?

Highly recommended. Made me appreciate my motorcycle so much more when I could really push it and see what all the work done to it can do.
