hey thad.....sorry we couldn't be more help. if you can line up a tranny, we could swap it out in a driveway if need be.....i just don't have any sources for a good rebuilt automagic on the cheap. i'm sure joel could probably find you a better deal than i could get.  like andy said....just give me a call if you got any questions.   

thanks guys. i think its best to tow it back. i don't have time to fix it. i just sold my house and i have to be out by the 18th and i haven't moved anything yet....

just giving an update.

couldn't get away to go the gtg, sounded like it would've been fun. i think it was the same night that i saw a sweet gray mk1 scirocco getting on highway 8.

got to eat at in-n-out finally. not bad, not bad at all.

i'm back in colorado. the car is still at my wife's uncle's place. gonna have it shipped back soon. got laid off. now looking for a job. any jobs available for a designer in san diego?
