I get the impression that DCI is a front for a handful of elitests with moderately nice cars who surround themselves with people who cant think for themselves, who need to be part of something to feel better about themselves. Its a viscious cycle. -big bentley on vortex

changing a cars bolt pattern

so hwos done this? i have to change my pick up to be a 4/108 pattern.......... not 100% sure whats the best way to go about this....... tips/tircks anyone would like to share?

Ya, usually you either redrill the hubs to do it right.  Or if you get lucky there might be another VAG hub/bearing that already has 4x108 and uses a dimensionally similar hub.

You should be able to use the front's off an Audi 4k, there have been a couple foxers that have done this (and if it can be done to a Fox, it can be done to a mk1).  Completely unsure about the rear.

My question though is... WTF?

There was one at Colorado auto parts saturday... wasn't paying enough attention at PnS to notice any there.

hum...... wonder what it woudl cost for these parts...... i bet if i could ever so gently remove just the hub thingy and not the hwole spndel id be out the door for a bit less?......

Why would you want to?

The wheel selection for 4x100s is much bigger than for 4x108s. Unless you found a set of uber rare euro wheels in 4x108 that were a screaming deal.

I know where a mint set are but they're 4x100 if you're interested.  Maybe then you dont need to convert bolt pattern.

No they are Revolutions .
Vertigo69.com did a good job .

Try the 80's Audi's Jess .
Here in Europe they ran with 4 x 108 PCD .
Disc and drumbrakes .
