B4 gearbox alternatives
« on: June 10, 2008, 12:38:58 AM »

the diff from my B4 VR6 blew 2 weeks ago, so i need a rebuild for the 02A
but are there newer alternatives to "easily" swap in or is extensive work or customisation necessary?

You can use any VR6 02A, or a VR6 02J if you swap in the 02A shift tower.

figured as much..
vr6 02A's and 02J's aren't cheap, i might as well get my old box rebuild then

too bad a G60 02A won't fit
