windsor too.  picked up one of the cheap ass windsor 29ers recently off of bikesdirect, surprisingly pleased.

Yeah, Ive been eyeing bikesdirect for one o them cx bikes, cause Im relatively poor and I hate having no alternate transportation to VAG products, knawmean.

And Ive built a $4000 (value) bike before, and it really didnt ride any different than a $900 bike.

theres shit i go cheap on and i feel just fine about it, other spots i wont.  i got the $579 niner and actually, love the thing.  i took the dart fork off cause, well i didnt like it and ran a carbon fork with a massive meat of a tire on the front, cracked the fork third trip out so am now looking for a new squish fork, all of which cost about what i paid for the complete bike  monk

wheels are fine, derraileurs fine, running it as a 1x9 anyways, pedals are ass cranks function, i dunno.  its actually a real decent frame and i like the bike, i really do.  can't build it for really anywhere close to what they're selling them for. 

i think they're made in the same place as specialized too.

i have however been heavily eyeballing a redline flight frame.
