vr6 coil swap to msd coil?

i vheard of this, what all is needed parts wise, and what do u do inorder to get them working properly on ur car?...

FourSeasonTuning has pre-made brackets and plug wires for sale, but ya seem like the kinda guy who'd make his own..

wtf, i searched on taht site for a week and didnt find thoughs threads thanks.......

and why in teh hell do they keep so much o f the old coil seems dumb as pie...... but thas me. yeah i could do the mounts adn shit no prob, jsut need wries i guess. well yet something else to keep in mind for when shit gives me probelms!

you have to keep the base of the coil pack for the ICM, if it goes bad or breaks then yer coils will start blowing apart..
nobody has found a viable alternative :-(

The Ignition Control Module can't be removed from that base supposedly. I've looking about doing the same thing for my swap.

i made mine using GM coils instead of msds.  havent set it up yet, but started making  my own mount to keep them in the stock location and sideways (just like stock) and have to modify my own plug wires... never got around to hooking it up
