It truely is sad to see a car club that I knew in the PNW back in '98 /'99 go to shit with people like you and all your east coast cloanies. Now i see why some of the "original" crew have left the scene. Looks like a bunch of DEMONIC WHOREDs who run nothing but there fucking mouth in the DCI now........... - Euro2.0

lets talk calipers
« on: February 05, 2008, 11:29:44 AM »

so, im looking at making my own break set up for my rabbit.

here is way, i am running realy tight fitting 13" rims., these rims are not the standard 4x100 bolt pattern, i also am using mk2 beak parts on all 4 corners, front break parts at that, dont asky why i twill make sence later.

here is my idea, use mk2 hubs, build my own caliper mount to fit inside my tiny rims with some kind of extra small 2 pistoin alumanum caliper, use a what ever size tinny rotor that will fit insisde my rims with said calipers.

i need some help locating what ever brand cheaper the better, knock off is fine wiht me, calipers that are extra thing acfross the bridte on the top, if i have to i will use 1 piston calipers but id like 2 pisotns if i could.

i am also not, i repeat not going to have power assisted breaks. i plan to run a dual master cylider, one for the front break system, one for the rear break system, so its important i do what i can to make sure im moving enough fluid to acutly stop the lill beast.

and lastly, i need to find a set of easy to hook up and shit, e-break calipers,........ i figure i can run 2 calipers for a ebreak only type aplacaton.

I was looking at putting some Wilwood 2 piston's on my race car, just never got around to it.  9.4" rotors and Wilwood 2 pistons "should" fit under 13" wheels.  I think the car I used to co-drive now has a set of 2 piston's on it, I'll try to get ahold of the owner.

As to E-brake, what's the use of the car, can you use a hydro parklock?
