Alright well I have the Monsoon stereo in my car.  It actually is equipped with a tape player, but no CD changer, though it has the option.  My question is, can you equip the car with a regular MP3 stereo and still use the output on the tape player to switch back and forth, or do I just remove that whole setup and replace it with the stereo?

Just plug an iPod into your tape deck using a tape adapter.

I do that in my Audi cos I can't remove the standard stereo (the metal lug things have bent backwards and it's wedged in grrrr).

It sounds much better than using an FM Modulator.

I currently use a tape adapter for an MP3 player, and Im getting tired of not having an in dash unit. My last car had only a tape deck too.

you can add an ipod interface into the changer port on the back that will control all the ipod functions through the factory radio/steering wheel and it will display the text as well as give you another aux. input (sirius,xm,mini jack etc)   check out mp3yourcar.com or drive to my shop and i'll hook it up :joel:
