looking for semi rim/tires
« on: May 22, 2007, 08:10:27 AM »

so, i want to run full blown semi rims/tires on my duramax if i can aford it. anyone have idea's on place's i should look for 19.5" or 22" or 22.5" rims and tires that are 8x6.5" bolt pattern?

i figure semi tires should last a shit ton more than any conventional truck tire ill get and be able to tow jsut fine. so why not use the stuff the big boys use?....

ok fuck that idea. i got a reply asking how much a set of adapters adn rims would cost.

:A set of 4 wheels and 4 adaptors with all the
center caps and lugs in 22.5 x 12.25 will cost you 3500.00"

holy fuck.... id still need tires after that.... fuck that. if im blwoing 3500 buks on that truck its geting a bad ass super built up 6spd tranny or a 2nd turbo........ fuck.... guess im sticking to steel rims and bfg's......

They're hard to find, but railroad trucks have 19.5" wheels and a standard 8 lug pattern.  I think I might know where a set is.  Don't worry, I haven't forgot about my other mission, I've just been crazy busy lately.
