car is a 1996 A4 2.8 Quattro

this morning the windshield wipers worked, just did a one swipe clean. then 5-10 min later went to use them again and now nothing. checked fuse #24 and its fine. also the washer jets work fine and thats on the same fuse.

any help? thanks.

ok. took out ecu and box. took off wipers. tray piece. took out complete assembly. plugged ecu back in. to key to power. tested switch. switch had power. decided to hook switch to assembly. nothing to first but i applied some elbow grease and it started working again. greased pivot points on linakge. reinstalled everything. and they work again.
