See how there are little holes? They're so it responds faster, the VW 1.8T one is similar but even more open. I can make 'open' ones out of the stock ones now, also.

you dont happen to know the thread pitch on those GM sensors do ya? i can't find that info anywhere and i've asked machinists/fab guys at work and they can't figure it out either...i'm sure it's something simple, but most of those guys are used to standard NF/NC threads and NPT threads...with the occasional port thread...but it doesn't seem to be any of those.

Are you running Aftermarket motor mounts? Any advice on the BFI stuff? Thinking about getting the .5, unless youe stage 1's are really not too bad...

Just from the pic it looks like a straight thread, could be 1/2-20, it looks like it.

Yes old ass Turn2 ones going to convert to delrin for the rear two and solid front. I don't buy BFI as they're complete rips of the old T2 stuff but don't work as well. They're VERY soft IMHO.

The VF mounts are nice but $$$$. Joe and I have something in the works but nothing commercial yet.

i'll vouch for the vf's, i have all 3 in my car. the only person that thinks the vibration is bad is lil chris, but hes used to those pillows that came as factory mounts in his car...

the tranny mount, however, is flawed. if you arent carefull, the "nut" that goes through the middle of the poly can slip through and fall into the cup. on top of that, there isnt really anything preventing the "nut" from spinning endlessly when trying to tighten the bolt through the trans bracket. anddont get me started on their stupid washer....

the hyperformace/hpa mount though, top notch. its everyhing the vf trans mount is, with the flaws fixed. the "nut" has a flared shape to it with the poly molded around it, preventing it from slipping through the poly into the cup. in addition to that, the top of the "nut" is similar to that of the factory mount with the two tabs that actually lock onto the transbracket, preventing it from spinning endlessly. and to top it of, they dont have the stupid washer the vf does that almost always falls off when trying to get everything back together.

their motor mounts, being incredibly similar to turn2 and bfi, are improved upon too. apparently its a dual compound poly. slightly softer for the idle vibrations, yet still MUCH stiffer than factory. and there was something to do with them when temps get cold, as soon as energy is put to them (read: engine starting) they go from being harder than the norm to exactly the same compound hardness as any other time of year, unlike most other poly mounts. or something along those lines.
