im sure someone aroudn here had swaped out springs/struts on a mk5. i have a o7' eos that wants springs installed and maybe struts......... what will i need? anything specal on a eos tool wise? iv got the usual spring cpmressor and shit i use on everother type of vw is that all i will need?

I'd say that's what he's talking about.  I thought the official tool for that was a screwdriver or cold chisel.

wow that reat suspenoin is fucking cake to work on!.... took about 5mins to swap out the rear springs!....... and teh front wasnt too abd once i broke loose all the brnad spanking new bolts that were haply painted in tehre place...... and holy fuck was it hard to remvoe the stupid ass whiper arms..... big fukcing time... ended up having to slide hammer the bastrds off.......
