Sadly though, the AWB will probably be renewed. You've got a few months to stockpile though.
That's what most people are worried about happening. I'm not sure if Obama will push for one, seeing as how it turned out last time, but I am getting ready incase it does. Either way, I'm stocking up on a few things I've been wanting anyway. Plus the prices went up drastically this AM at most dealers/suppliers, so buying yesterday was a good thing IMO. ex. G19 mags ($20 yesterday, $30 today)

Also I'm not sure who makes Kimber's mags, but some 1911 mags i have needed a break in for the spring. Load it up, let it sit and unload/reload once daily for a week. That should make it better.
I'd just deburr the hole in the trigger, it's for an overtravel screw, that I ALWAYS remove. I don't like the idea of a tiny set-screw moving due to vibration/firing and rendering my pistol unusable.
Holsters. PLEASE do not get a SOB holster. In addition to being very slow to draw from, they can be very dangerous. One slip and fall onto your butt and you can take a paralyzing hit to the lower spine. If you want more concealable, look into something like a Milt Sparks VM2 or CompTac CTAC.

agreed, the allens seize with disimlar metals and then strip That's why I always swap mine out for socket head cap screws with the correct washer. Never had a problem with my old style TT unit FWIW.... I've also ran motors with only 2 6mm bolts left connecting the portions of a cam gear. There really isn't that much load on them at all to require ARP's.

But everything helps IMO.

although im still up in the air about ether a 9mm or a .40 or .45.. i was talking to scott last night about the cost of ammo and what not.. i have a feeling id probly shoot whatever gun i own..a few times a month... but mostly carry it concealed..and hopefully not have to fire it If you plan to carry it for protection, definitely take some training on defensive shooting techniques. Punching paper at a range and being involved in a life threatening situation are completely different skill sets.

To be honest, every gun you mentioned there is a quality piece. It all comes down to preference and what fits you the best. You really can't go wrong with any of the major "plastics" out there now, Glock, M&P, XD. Sigs and HK's are nice, but usually command a bit higher pricing. FWIW, it's called a magazine, 6 in the magazine.... Also curious on the limitation of .45. While it's a great round, just curious....
