i realy dont get it. why does all the new apple adds bash on vista?... yeah its a touch diffrent for the first few use's but in the end its realy nice. maybe i am missing something?
i don't really agree with the apple ads about pc vs. macs but... Vista is a piece of shit. Here is a list of issues from a high level. - Old Files to Be Deleted, Actually Saved: Fucked disk space
- Eats Memory and is resource intensive - especially if you are upgrading. Often physical memory isn't enough unless you have a SHIT TON of physical memory in which case Vista goes crazy with swap, causing massive IO on your disk and wheels you toward early HD failure faster then you were previously going
- Seemingly endless Driver Issues: Upgrading without having some sort of drive incompatibility issue is like a zebra striped unicorn with jetpacks. You probably aren't going to see one in your life time.
- Compatibility: try to run something from the xp days or prior - go ahead - good luck
...look at how many people who bought laptops with vista on them then when they were so fucking slow they could hardly be used people brought them back and requested xp be loaded on them. You need more horse power to run vista even with the doodads tied down then xp with like results. I find that to be poor coding/design. But that's my opinion.[/list]

He has CIS. Cody, you should be able to run on CIS fine with a knock box+wiring I believe.
Btw, if that motor went tits up, its not a big deal... We have what, 4 spare motors in my garage and one is a direct drop in and go that ran great...
Don't rush yourself, do it right. Make decisions that are as informed as possible. No need to hurry.

Looking at picking one up soon. I know about battery tender, what about battery minder and why? Read that tender floatings and minder is trickle. Tim was telling me that minder was better, but which one is actually better at keeping the battery alive longer?
I have one at home that I really like and I use it constantly on my bike (have the permanent connector on the bike for it) and I use it on the landcruiser too. I think mine is a battery tender. I have zero complaints... I can check for sure when I am back in Oregon on Monday if you want.
