Title: Kinesis Post by: Krauthammer on May 14, 2008, 09:49:41 PM = Fuji, Trek, Motobecane...
I know there are a lot more, but I don't know them specifically. Title: Re: Kinesis Post by: Weaver on May 15, 2008, 09:49:01 PM windsor too. picked up one of the cheap ass windsor 29ers recently off of bikesdirect, surprisingly pleased.
Title: Re: Kinesis Post by: Weaver on May 15, 2008, 09:49:57 PM granted i changed out half the shit but i could spend 3Gs on a bike and i'd still do that.
Title: Re: Kinesis Post by: Krauthammer on May 15, 2008, 10:22:33 PM Yeah, Ive been eyeing bikesdirect for one o them cx bikes, cause Im relatively poor and I hate having no alternate transportation to VAG products, knawmean.
And Ive built a $4000 (value) bike before, and it really didnt ride any different than a $900 bike. Title: Re: Kinesis Post by: Weaver on May 16, 2008, 03:48:05 PM theres shit i go cheap on and i feel just fine about it, other spots i wont. i got the $579 niner and actually, love the thing. i took the dart fork off cause, well i didnt like it and ran a carbon fork with a massive meat of a tire on the front, cracked the fork third trip out so am now looking for a new squish fork, all of which cost about what i paid for the complete bike :tard:
wheels are fine, derraileurs fine, running it as a 1x9 anyways, pedals are ass cranks function, i dunno. its actually a real decent frame and i like the bike, i really do. can't build it for really anywhere close to what they're selling them for. i think they're made in the same place as specialized too. i have however been heavily eyeballing a redline flight frame. |
